Our Work

The 18-month project set the goals to increase and improve opportunities, prioritize an intuitive rider experience through a seamless, welcoming system, and create a reliable, predictable Regional Rail System that people can trust.

We are spearheading engagement for SEPTA’s Comprehensive Bus Network Redesign: a complete reimagination of the Philadelphia region’s bus network.

The Delaware Valley Planning Commission sought a deeper understanding of how historically disinvested communities make transportation decisions, requesting a study that delivered a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods executed in partnership with community groups.

We worked with the City of Lancaster to design and execute an innovative and inclusive approach to their Comprehensive Plan Update through the development of a Citizens’ Planning Committee.

We led an unprecedented engagement process that sought to empower community voices to guide the redevelopment process of the former Police Headquarters, known as the Roundhouse, as the City of Philadelphia planned to release the RFP and sell the site.

The South Jersey Transportation Planning Organization conducted a Microtransit Feasibility Study to determine if microtransit service would better connect residents to employment, services, and resources currently provided by a fixed route community shuttle serving rural and suburban areas of Atlantic County, NJ.

The PA Hazard Mitigation State Planning Team updated its hazard mitigation plan for the Commonwealth, with a focus on disaster resilience while respecting local communities. CtD provided strategic advisory services for stakeholder engagement, including outreach tools and opportunities for inclusive input with FEMA recognizing our work as a regional best practice.

We served as Community Engagement Lead for the development of Atlantic City’s Economic Development Action Plan, conducting listening tours and facilitating inclusive charrettes to incorporate local perspectives. Our insights and recommendations informed the final plan, released in Spring 2023.

We engaged local residents in assessing emerging mobility options to enhance the transportation system. Through interviews with stakeholders and public meetings, engagement efforts led to valuable qualitative insights, identification of a transit desert, education of residents on emerging transportation technologies, and the delivery of the final Alternatives Transportation Modes Assessment with recommendations.
